My original reason for going to Italy was to present a paper at the Knowledge Intensive CAD Workshop in Parma. However, it soon became a much bigger trip than that, with a colloquium talk at IRST in Trento, a bicycle tour of Tuscany, and a few days in Florence afterwards:
