Here are my pictures from a short bicycle trip on the afternoon of Sunday, October 1. I started at the Coral Beach Hotel and went north on a road near the shore.

	Banana trees. The blue sacks contain the bananas.		The birds and the bees, banana-tree style.
	Flowers growing along a sidewalk.		A villa or a farm house, I'm not sure which.
	The street signs in Cyprus are bilingual - Greek and English.		My Bike Friday goes rock climbing! (Actually, I climbed down from here to the rocks shown in the next picture.)

	A Greek Orthodox church at a small fishing village.		The interior of the church. This photo didn't turn out very well, but I was reluctant to take more because people kept coming in and out to do their Sunday evening rituals. They would come in, kiss some of the icons, and then leave.
	One of the flowers growing alongside the road.		Entrance to a forest. At this point the pavement ended, so I didn't follow the road much farther.
	The trees are much farther apart than they would be in one of our forests.		It was near the end of the dry season, and everything was very dry.
